Perspective can be dangerous…

Who you listen to can determine a lot of how you see things. Sometimes those perspectives can lead you into precarious thought processess.

9-30-2024  Pimp Article: “Thousands of protesters trying to storm US embassy is Baghdad after Nasrallah killing”  Iraqi protesters are trying to storm the US Embassy in Baghdad…How does that affect Iraqi dinar holders?  The last thing you need is for there to be an unstable country with protesters tying to storm the US Embassy… and of course, 9-30-2024   Newshound Guru Kaperoni   Community Comment:  The US Embassy in Iraq is under siege I’m old enough to remember the last time a middle eastern embassy was under siege with a weak president…I hope this ends better…Pray for US personnel in Iraq”   Not good. So, here’s the scoop… Per the AP, where the original video aired, HUNDREDS of protestors try to cross into the green zone in a rally against the death of Hezbollah leader. Somehow, that video was reused dozens of times, which of course multiplied the number. At least three agencies bumped those number to THOUSANDS. If you look at the video, there’s a lot of flag waving and some pushing and shoving but nothing that signifies some of the claims some sensationalized news agencies have put out to help sell subscriptions. Does that sound familiar? Per the U.S. Embassy and Consulate in Iraq, the U.S. Mission Iraq is monitoring calls for demonstrations in Baghdad from Sunday, September 29 through Tuesday, October 01. This wasn’t a surprise to the agencies there, not to belittle the opportunity for violence when large crowds gather, but they have been aware and have had numerous updates to U.S. citizens and others there to avoid the areas of demonstrations and large gatherings and have issued notices to disperse large groups. Now I’m not saying this could potentially cause some delays or concerns, but it’s also overrated to believe some of the numbers that some crisis starters would have you believe at this time.

9-30-2024   Bruce we are hearing…coming from Iraq, that they will have their smaller denominations ready to go…I don’t think they have ones, but five – 10’s, 20s, 50s, and 100’s that’s their new currency…the three zero notes from Iraq that we have…the 25,000 or 25k notes? …the 10k, the 5k, the 1k – all of those 3 zero notes have been removed from Iraq…that should be done by the 30th this month, the last day of this month. Well at the time of this post, it’s 10pm in Iraq, looks like your hearing is off again. Do you know sign language perhaps? I’d recommend taking a course, you know since your day just isn’t going well at all. I just can’t see how anyone can take ANYTHING this guy says as gospel. There should be a disclaimer that states, “For entertainment purposes only” except after all the years of claiming it was going down, most should have lost interest by now. The claims that millions of people tune if for the False Call are one of the biggest jokes in digital world.

9-30-2024  Frank26   They tell you [Iraqi citizens] there is an imminent change coming to your currency almost every day now.  That is very exciting.  These are the words we’ve only dreamed about in the last 5 years.  To see them almost every day is rather shocking but very exciting right now…This is getting crazier and crazier every day with so much excitement and so much information about the monetary reform being sent directly pinpointed to you Iraqi citizens from Sudani. I love that fact that someone thinks that the Iraqi citizens are listening to them like they’re having a conversation. No one in Iraq cares what some Hawaiian fashion outcast is saying to them hahaha. Articles from Iraq are nice to see, but again, the media is manipulated so we can’t take it for granted it’s all on the up and up. We need to see tangible results from these conversations. The biggest failure in Iraq is IMPLEMENTATION. They talk a good game but hardly follow through with the completion of projects. Look no further than the three year budget we’re almost two years through and NO implementation as promised. Until they can show some results in the international community, it’s the same ol’ same ol’.

The path is clear about what has to change, implementation of laws, removal of restrictions, tariffs and taxes to help offset oil revenues, the international restrictions on the currency removed, HCL and oil disbursements, and reduced corruption. Many of these are tied together and you can’t get one without the other but the good thing is that mean change could occur rapidly, IF things are IMPLEMENTED and no more of this Middle Eastern procrastination occurs.

I know many had to deal with the weather, here’s hoping you can recover quickly from the storm and nothing would help more than a change in value, but we can’t count on that. Reach out to reputable organization to provide help if you can. Stay strong.
