There are some posts out there that have calls available that to be honest, I’ve never listened to, only read the transcripts. So last night I had some time to kill and clicked on one of the sites and saw a post with a broadcast link and thought, “this should be good for a laugh”. Let me tell you, I was not disappointed. If it wasn’t so upsetting to know this person has been spewing the same nonsense over the years, I could make this a far more humorous post. First he started off by proclaiming he was being listened to in 198 countries around the world that equalled 18.4 million listeners. Now this is where from the very beginning you should start fact checking people. There are currently 195 countries that include the Vatican and Palestine in the number. So this guy is claiming to be reaching with his little dinar discussion (we’ll get back to that) EVERY country in the world, plus a few that don’t even show up on a map! Now let’s get to the 18.4 Million listeners. The single most popular podcast in the world is the Joe Rogan Experience which tallies a whopping 11 Million listeners per podcast. I guess he doesn’t have the benefit of being broadcast in every country in the world plus some. C’mon people, you don’t have to go more than 10 seconds into most of these supposed gurus chit chat before you determine how genuine they are. It’s not about slamming the individuals who say these things, it’s about learning what to listen to. If they do a 60 or 90 minute call or youtube posting and about 10 minutes is actual “intel” while they sell or promote something, chances are you should see what’s more important to them. Please do your own research and avoid the nonsense. I know it makes you feel good to hear that a rate is changing or “we’ve heard from our best contact that we’re right on the cusp”, but believe me, life will be far easier if you just mute the noise and do the best you every day.
