Sometimes you just need a good word…

There’s been a number of emails and comments about people just confused and depressed again over the constant “it’s here, it’s here” and “this is our weekend”, I just can’t reiterate enough the problems caused by those that continue to spread this kind of noise.

The one positive root thing that it can all come down to, is that everyone, even the negative nellies agree that something will happen with the dinar eventually. This is particularly hard for those that have been in it over decade or more like myself because of the amount of smoke blown up our chat rooms back in the day from those that said, “OMG the plane is landing!!!” Well, we see how that worked out, and there were a number of lessons learned. One of the reasons that I stepped away for so many years was because individuals whom I trusted, and were connected such that I thought no way they didn’t know what was happening, continued to be wrong. Some of this information I shared, some of it I did not. Why? As it proved more and more to me that no one had a real inkling into the insights of this investment, I didn’t want to feel like I was continuing the cycle of unvalidated information along to others. Webster’s defines intel as, useful information concerning a subject of interest. That useful part really was and is a sticking point to me. Do I really care how many hot dogs you consumed on a street corner in front of a bank with black suvs parked in front and bank staff on high alert for this happening? Hell no. Because we’ve learned that won’t get you anything but jail time and a moniker of stupid. There have and continue to be people who take advantage of people’s need for something, any little bit of info that feeds their desire to know they haven’t been taken advantage of. Unfortunately, in some’s search for validity, they’ve allowed just this situation to happen. Feeding the gurus with clicks, donations and revenue streams to continue abusing the plethora of people desperate for some tidbit that this is over.

I’ve tried to relate over the years to those in this circumstance the information isn’t what is important. Having a plan for an event is what should be the goal. If you have or are in the situation where this is a necessary event for your life to proceed, I’m truly sorry, but you need a better plan. The only reason I even keep up with this anymore is to make sure I stay up to date on tax laws, currency issues and government code changes. I’ve never tried to spend money that was part of my normal budget, or as it’s commonly referred to, money you couldn’t afford to lose. The nice part about this is, you can always exchange your dinar back in to a business like currency exchange international, or sell it to someone else, so the risk is small. If you’ve been in this for any length of time, chances are you at least break even. So I hope you have a plan, whether it’s a penny, a dollar, or even more, know what you can do with what you have! If you’re curious about what I had in mind, feel free to peruse some of the archives where I go over what my plan is, until it changes 🙂

Stay healthy.
