Beware the rolling…. rates?

Flashing, intermittent, fluctuating, changing and now rolling, those rates are just out of control…

Seriously, when will people stop with the whole bank screens stories. Who’s seeing these? The custodial staff? That says a lot about your contacts (no offense to actual custodians out there, I’m sure you have better friends that gurus). They’ll tell you they’re “trading” them in the background until someone else shows up at the bank and the numbers magically disappear! Isn’t it funny how they just know?

It was a long day for me, so let’s jump right in.
9-17-2024   MarkZ  I …heard they [rates on bank screens] are changing and fluctuating. I am hoping this means they are priming the system again. My banking contacts say they are seeing many different rates…rates are rolling all over the place…Hopefully they are checking the system and priming the system…. The ol’ hope and guess thing. Ah yes, I forgot about “priming the system” because bank screens are like old water well that you have to prime the pump for the computers to work. Ridiculous! I’m guessing those tellers working out of the Dollar General just aren’t trustworthy these days.

9-17-2024   Wolverine  I was told this morning that the new rates presently put on the Bank Screen are not actual new bank rates. They are used for investments… If you still garner any hope from ANYTHING this guy says, you are the epitome of insanity.

9-17-2024   Pimpy  I just read an article not that long ago that said oil sales are now 89% of their budget which is good.  Remember it was 96% of their budget…Iraq is going in the right direction but they still rely on oil sales way too much…If Iraq starts stumbling and the prices drop low for oil per barrel then they start operating in the deficit…If it keeps dropping and gets too low then they’re going to have no choice but to…devalue the Iraq dinar…No body said they’re doing it.  I’m just saying we really got to pay attention to the price of oil per barrel because if it gets too low they don’t need to tell us what’s going to happen, you should already be aware that’s what they’re going to do… Well what do you know, the Pimple got off of Wikipedia for once and got into some articles for once. Iraq continues to decrease the amount of budget mastered by oil revenue, this is progress. It’s amazing that he acknowledges they are headed in the right direction, until they aren’t. Oil will bounce back in the next month as futures start to kick in. Let’s not pay attention to the fact that they continue to tell us they are increasing the capabilities of the amount of oil they can pump each day. You don’t do that if you’re panicked about the price of oil.

There are good things on the horizon, movement possibly in the HCL, salary implementation for non-essential government employees, reforms to the banking and financial sector, and continued movement in the development of non-oil revenue. Continue to look and listen for advancements in the digital realm of economic infrastructure in Iraq, along with real growth. Stay strong with your plan.
